The List: Sedans with Low True Cost to Own
As you probably know, True Cost to Own, or TCO, is an Edmunds metric designed to give you a picture of overall ownership costs.
If you’ve ever owned a car, you know that your automotive expenses don’t begin and end with your car payment. With TCO, you get an estimate of what the costs of ownership will be over a five-year period, in eight key areas: depreciation, interest on financing, taxes and fees, insurance premiums, fuel, maintenance, repairs and any federal tax credit that may be available.
